To be fair, I wasn't the only one "taunting." Also, most of the people that post things that make themselves targets for such humour tend to be female. I don't explicitly attack people based on their gender.

nothing actually has the value of infinity, it just approaches infinity.
when two things approach infinity, you can't compare them on that fact alone as being less, greater, or equal (without l'Hopital's rule) for the following reason:

saying "a < b" means that "a/b < 1" if b is not 0.
likewise,
saying "a > b" means that "a/b > 1" if b is not 0.
and
saying "a = b" means that "a/b = 1" if b is not 0.

whenever you have 0/0, inf/inf, inf^0, etc. you get uncertainty (and must use l'Hopital's rule to determine the limit)

man we should just do away with the number zero it sucks and only causes problems.

a good rule to follow when programming: embrace the number 0.
the empty list, the zero-length array, the string of zero characters, the null pointer. consider all these values and how your program should treat them in every part of your implementation.
