All you need to do is throw him and jump repeatedly. It's a pain-free solution.

Try not using Bowser against bosses.

It's actually harder then.

I didn't use Bowser throughout the whole game. :/

I tried to avoid using Peach and Bowser as much as possible.

in fact except when needed I only used Mario.

...Next run through I'm totally doing it with Bowser though, just to see how he reacts to things.

It's physically impossible to make a battle against O'Chunks hard.

The only good thing about fighting him was his awesome battle music.

Yeah, but that doesn't make him weaker than "most small enemies" considering you can do the same thing to any of them as well (except things with spikes of course).


Just because you had an easy time with him, Dr. Bob-omb, does not mean he was a worthless weakling.

Do it without moving?

Let me rephrase that statement.

In the first battle he's basically a small enemy with extra Health.

After that, most weak enemies have more attack power than him.

In the last chapter, he's probably the weakest thing in the chapter.

You cannot judge strength by the amount of damage he can inflict on you with one attack.

Yes, you can.

Well, you can, but it won't be it won't be a good judgement if you don't take into account health and defense.


O'Chunks has, on average, ten times the amount of health as the other enemies in the level he appears in.

Well, I actually died fighting O'Cabbage, because he pretty much cornered me. Other than that, he's still easy even without Bowser.

But still, I loved O'chunks battle music.
