Let's give some awesome counter-arguments in my speech:

-You're might be 13, but IMO your as old as you feel.. I'm 18 and I sometimes think that I'm to old to be here ohmy.gif
-You say that you don't haven any amazing skills, but you did manage to win/be runner-up/be top five in the minigame competitions, which shows that you have more talent than alot of people on MFGG. And by trying, you'll gradually develop those awesome skills.
-Altough it's true that you live in Australia and most people are asleep or partying, BUT Australia is almost in the same timezone as China (1.4 billion people!). So you'll never be alone at MFGG laugh.gif
-Who needs fads?
-So, I do have brawl but I doesn't make me feel special?
-I don't have a character...
-I'm not cool either, but I'm trying... and it works wink.gif
-I usually don't even post (I've been here twice as long as you, and you still have twice as much post)... and a childish post is always better than no post...

Conclusion.. STAY!!

(btw I love your games laugh3.gif )

A lot of those aren't good reasons for leaving. If you leave, we'll be losing one of the few people who are intelligent AND 13.

Y'know what? I still think everytime somebody makes a topic like this they're really just waiting to see people going all "OH DON'T GOO YOU'RE SO SMAAAAAAART sad.gif(", it would make alot more sense to just say I'M LEAVING BYE.

Anyway, do whatever you want to, after all it's your life.

I think I'm either the second or third youngest member of the mod team at 18. Phage is 15. FanGuy's 25. That's a decade between the youngest and oldest global mod. ShadowMan was made admin when he was 13 years old, so age doesn't really count on the internet. All the top fangame makers are in their late teens or early twenties. Some people on SFGHQ have been here since fangaming really started to kick off (1998!)

In fact it's too early to be able to say for sure when most people leave the fangaming community. It doesn't actually happen that often. A lot of the leavers here weren't actually in the "fangaming" part, but rather, the arts and stuff. And obviously there are better sites for art because that's not our main focus.

If you're occasionally going to lurk, then you're not leaving MFGG.

Deal with it. As long as you know MFGG, you're stuck as a part of MFGG. That's just protocol.

He said he might lurk around the main site, not the forums. It'll be difficult for a normal member to detect whether he was lurking, and the staff don't just randomly shout out "(member) was lurking!"

I like to think of not talking on a forum is leaving.

Well, I guess one can take it that way, but it almost makes it seem insanely negative.

Iunno. Just think it's an interesting concept that you're leaving a forum, when it's not as if you're banned, and you've contributed a decent bit here. You can at anytime just pop right back in (kinda like I did this year) and no one will think anymore or less of you.

You're just moving MFGG down on your priority list is all.

Hahahahahaha I remember when the fangame scene got heated. Yeah, there's definitely better sites for each discipline, but another thing I love about MFGG is how we just don't care. You got something, you can bring it to the table here.

man, makes me miss dear old BeautyQueenKlobber, yo. What's Disgaea-face doin' with his life these days?
