But DK should have been playable in 3. Donkey Kong 64 I liked being able to choose lots of different Kongs. I think DK wouldn't really fit in Diddy Kong Racing to me All of the characters were so cuddly and friendly. Donkey Kong... not so much. Plus he was already in Mario Kart 64, so I doubt Nintendo or Rare would have wanted to put him in another one. --------------------

It was retooled as Sabreman Stampede, but that was eventually canceled too. Personally, I don't want a return to DK64 or DKJB considering they were both big departures from the Donkey Kong Country games. -------------------- Ref Here
