Celestial Anime, The List

[::THE 5 RULES OF Celestial Anime::]

1. Will be Anime, And rarely NAnime.

2. No Live Action - With Exceptions in the case of lulz

3. Has to be over 3 months old, and at least 10 eps subbed(with exception of a series with less then 10 episodes) - Also Less then 56 episodes please.

4. Most will be anime not shown here, Exceptions will occur for stuff that hasn't been shown for quite a while.

5. No 3D films/anime - Appleseed was better before it was 3D

Should note, I will only play things 56 episodes or less.

I saw the note about having at least 10 episodes subbed, so am I to assume you're doing just subbed episodes? Because that's the way to do it.

Subs come out first.

Generally I air subs, but I will also air dubs.

You ever be a huge fan of Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, and enjoy the voices, and even bought Sonic Heroes just to hear Ryan Drummond and pals,

and then get Shadow the Hedgehog only to find out they replaced the amazing voices with the 4Kids annoying, no-talent, low-budget, whiny, completely unfit voices?


It makes an individual want to wish 4Kids never existed in the first place.

I don't watch enough of anime to know that whole deal.


Seriously, I only know some animes through hilarious abridged versions. That's how I got to know Yu-Gi-Oh, DBZ, Naruto and Avatar (if you consider that an anime).

Unfortunately, they haven't made a joke about how the DBZ Japanese voices are horrible, so I wouldn't know. Except for now, since you informed me.

4Kids is an exception to the rule that "English dubs are just as good." Some people, however, after watching their silly mainstream anime, seem to think it's the running constant because the only anime they watch anyways are the ones 4kidds gets their hands on.

Rule of thumb, though (by my standards at least) -- dubs are better. Why? Two words: Japanese girls.

They have the most annoying, high, trying-way-too-hard-to-be-cute-even-though-they're-waaayy-past-their-prime voices.

I completely agree with the notion that Japanese actresses tend to have annoying-as-**** voices.
