Forum speed / responsiveness issues, I need your participation

It takes half a minute for me to come to MFGG everytime I come here now.
which never happened a week ago when everything was quick

Oddly enough, recently my connection has been slowing down from 11mbps to 1mbps whenever I load the page, and speeding back up when the page is done loading. O_O

I had a glitch yesterday where the ccc opened in 30 windows simultaniously...

Most likely browser-related

Takes about 30 seconds for MFGG to start up, when it used to take about 3.

And sometimes I will be waiting for about 20 seconds for my response to go through.

That's really bizarre, because for the past couple days now, every time I visit MFGG after idling for a while, it takes exactly 30 seconds to load. Now I need to idle and test KS or something.

30 seconds to load, after that it's good.

Its really slow to connect to mfgg at first, then its fine.

I don't think the same thing happens on gda.

Takes about 15 seconds to get to index from mainsite, but after that it all runs smoothly.

I was restarting the mysql server

I'm getting similar problems where it takes 15-30 seconds to load the forum's index after I open my browser and then no time at all to load pages after that.

Yeah, me too.

For some reason in order to post something, I usually have to hit add reply, hit back, and then add reply again as if I were double posting. Otherwise it just times out most the time. This only happens on MFGG. I don't go on any other taloncrossing sites and every other website works fine. I don't know if this is a related thing or if anyone else has experienced this..

The forum is slow to load on the first time during a session (well, while I have the browser open anyway, don't know if that's the same thing), but it eventually loads and I have no trouble after that.

Main site loads like in 15 seconds, and forums 30.

Another one who haves the same problem...

Yep same here. It takes about almost 20 seconds for me...

Could it be something with the cookies?

When I had cookies deactivated just now, I could instantly connect to MFGG (but was not logged in).
When I have cookies activated, it takes half a minute to load MFGG the first time but after that works normally.

It took me nearly 30 secs for MFGG to load for me.
