well funny thing is (this is how it works on a Windows PC anyway, not sure about phones), it never gets completely deleted, it's hidden in memory so they can search for it if they wish.

What on earth are you guys talking about? The article didn't say anywhere that students who received the pic unintentionally were in trouble.

It said "some" students were in trouble. For all we know, those particular students might have done something like show their friends the pic on their phones. It would be quite understandable if they got punished for that.

Child porn should not EXIST. Anyone of any belief system should be able to agree on that much. And anyone causing it to exist should be punished. Simple as that.

Also, your "argument" earlier in your post didn't hinge on what people were the "audience" of her naked picture, so do you think it wouldn't be wrong of her either to show nude pics of herself to adult men?

Well, showing it to adults is obviously unlawful - but I think they're unclear as to whether it's illegal if shown to other students of the same age.

Here's the thing - the law says it is forbidden to distribute child pornography - no matter what, no matter who. You could somehow distribute it to an infant an it'd still be illegal.

The part that confuses me, is that it says

Nudity isn't exactly sexually explicit, unless someone can find me an exact dictionary-definition of that phrase that says plain nudity goes under it. If it isn't exactly entailed, by technicality, then what law does nude pictures go under?

Having an official "stamp" of sexual misconduct on her could serve to keep other people away from choosing her for occupations that may involve little kids. In the case of people as sexually decadent as that, the more kids keep away from their quite potentially corrupting influence, the better. I wouldn't want any kid of mine associating with a sl**.
