I don't really think that this will affect McCain's race to the White House. Knowing just how angry that people on his side of the campaign have gotten, they're going to find a way to ****smear the Democrats over this.

What Democrats don't understand is by attacking Palin's character 24-7, they're only helping the Republican party. They'd be better off just leaving Palin alone and running their own campaign.

The sudden changes in "CHANGE! HOPE! WE'RE NOT THE OLD-TYPE POLITICAL PARTY!" to "Btw, McCain's corrupt because of 1980's lapse in judgement and Palin's Bush all over again too" is undermining the image of Obama as a new candidate for a new washington. Of course, the McCain campaign has already tried spinning this inquiry as partisan smear tactics. I'm sure a lot of people will fall for it, simply because for the most part, voters didn't know Palin when this inquiry started. That would be July 31, in case that article didn't mention it.
