Really I have no problem with the stuff Ashura draws.

I just find it really weird that he gets all defensive when somebody says anything different from "AWESOME YOU GOOD ARTIST MMM MMMMMMM."

Then stop fishing for C&C if you don't want it. You're never going to get pure "OMG UR ART IS SO KAWAII ANDS COOL I WANNA DRAW LIEK U" comments on your art, even if you're the best artist in the world. If you don't want people to comment, don't put your blasted art up for commenting in the first place.

I swear, it gets really frustrating when you post, like, twice or three times a week and can't take an ounce of criticism. CCC can live without your art if you're going to get all butthurt anytime someone tries to help you. Stop expecting people to all shower you with praise and adoration every time you post a picture. The fact that you get so angry about people giving you criticism only shows you have a huge ego. Just because you say "Oh, yeah, my art sucks" doesn't mean you're modest at all. It means you're saying all the right words and expecting compliments; you don't even really know what's wrong or "sucky" about your art. You just say that to mask your very obvious ego.

tl;dr if you can't take the heat get out of the bloody kitchen already.

I know that you are sick of me going "WAAAH WHY DO PEOPLE CRITICIZE ME" every time I post in the CCC, and I realize that what I have done wrong. I do not ask for praise to show that I am "better" than others here. I do it so I can boost my self-confidence... I am usually busy in college, and the studying wears down my energy; I really just want praise so I can feel happy I go home. I am sorry.. will not ask for praise/go nuts when someone criticizes me again... I need to find another way to boost my self-confidence...

To be honest, asking for praise is a really bull**** way to boost your self-confidence.

Just be proud of what you draw, and if people give you suggestions, at least take them into consideration before going SSJ on everyone and outright reject them. If you do something that fits within your style but then people ask you to change or alter it, make the alteration to see how it works, and if it doesn't, don't use it.

Now, if someone outright tells you to change your style, you can then tell them to shove that suggestion right back up their ass where it came from, but it doesn't hurt to try new things, Ashura. To be honest, I was rather disappointed when I entered the topic and I saw a dude (okay), then Garchomp (that's cool), and then loliloliloliloliloliloliloliloli.
