Animal Crossing: City Folk

I wouldn't call City Folk a sequel but rather an expansion pack. And not a very lengthy one either so I can understand why some(or most?) would rather not pay fifty bucks for it.

But all it really took for me to be interested was the return of the GCN features that can now be used online (rover on the bus and the holidays to be more specific), the addition of Mii heads, and the ability to edit the front, back, and sleeves of your shirt separately. But like I said, more sophisticated people want more for their buck and I'm alright with that too. In fact if all these games do flop along with the DSi next year (this of which I actually don't plan to get at the moment) maybe Nintendo will finally buckle down and start coming up with games that not only the people who are not interested in this game will enjoy, but ones people like me will like fifty times as much as I'll most likely enjoy City Folk when I get it.

To be honest, Nintendo has really been sucking lately. If you deny it, you're only lying to yourself.
Sure, Nintendo has made (a few) fantastic games for the Wii, such as Galaxy, Prime 3, and Wario Land Shake it. But these games are coming out with increased gaps in between. I mean, Galaxy came out over a YEAR ago! Nintendo comes with a great gem every couple months. But in between those months comes a bunch of mediocre games.

not worshipping nintendo for everything they crank out doesn't show that he's unwelcome. it shows that he's moderately intelligent.

tbh i do have a ps2... with one game...
tbh i do have a gc... with about 15ish games
tbh i do have a wii... with just about 10ish games...
tbh i do not have a ps3

Well, it depends on one's point of view. However, I can pull out a bunch of information regrading sales and the like to disprove you.

I was simply responding to that post, not saying that I hate the Wii. And plus, I'm a really big Wii fanboy. He's the one who put "WII IS THE WORST CONSOLE" in his sig at one point. >_>

I agree when people say Nintendo is nowhere as entertaining as before. I don't care about stuff like Wii Everyday Mundane Thing Made Great By Waving A Stick Around Like A Madman and Animal Crossing: City Folk Like Your Money. Hell, even the 'hardcore' games Nintendo have been releasing aren't as good as the used to be: everyone of them has to be accessible by non-gamers, which basically means "Make the game easy to win by even the most brain-dead of players".

It is not the fact that he says it that is annoying, but rather the fact that he CONSTANTLY says it.

It's common sense, on a Nintendo fan-based forum, you do not bash Nintendo related things over and over without expecting to piss people off. It's annoying and serves just as little purpose as mindless praise, though the bashing is quite a bit off topic for this forum in general. You are entitled to your opinion, but when you've said you hated Animal Crossing once... the people here do not want to read it in every topic about the game nor is it necessary.
