The original was made in the games factory while the gold version was made in multimedia fusion.

Well all of the major recording and filming for act IV is finally finished so I'm aiming to have the episode out by March 27th or if I get it done fast enough, March 20th. This episode deals with the other fan games I worked on (even some unknown ones) and Paper Mario World Gold.

The fourth of a five part video series describing the origins and aftermath of the infamous cult hit fan game Paper Mario World is finally here in time for spring!

(warning there is some mature language in these videos)

Act 4:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I35ChAS6KD8

So yeah after watching end of act IV I guess I should talk about whats going on in the final episode.

Spoilers:
So the final act will be dealing with Paper Mario World 2, the last game I was working on before I quit the fan games scene. I know only a few people have a copy of the game's source file so for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, this episode will be a treat to one of the hidden relics of MFGG's past. This episode will take some time to finish compared to the previous acts as I'm planning on doing something epic for its conclusion. It's something wildly unexpected and I hope I can pull it off.

Anyways enjoy the video guys!

Interesting, I laughed at two points of the movie. I went to play PMW and it was quite possibly the best game I have ever played. Can't wait for part 5, since I never even heard of Spoilers:
PMW2

EDIT:You never released it? Make sense why I never heard of it. True, it was pretty short, but I still liked the movie.

Yeah this episode was more informative than comical though it is short. I'm still deciding whether I should release what I have of PMW2 after act 5 goes up unless some people want it to stay as a collectors item... wink.gif

I've always wondered what PMW2 was like.
Now I finally get to find out.

Aww man. If it's a YouTube video my internet can't handle it.
I also resent how all you guys put down one of the best games on MFGG.

Actually, you're an especially disappointing case because of that.
You and Yoshiman, I can't believe you think of PMW this way. ;_;

I know the game is one of the earlier fan games released but when you compare this game to something like Mario Roots or Mushroom Kingdom Fusion there is no comparison. Plus the game was full of lazy game design as well...

I've never heard o' those two games, but compare PMW to a game like Toad Strikes Back, PMW wins by a landslide.

Toad Strikes Back was flashy, with very nice graphics and smooth physics, it was also one of the most shallow game I've ever played. Paper Mario World, on the other hand, has a certain spirit. An overwhelming spirit that makes the game irresistible. That's why I like a lot of pretty much hated fangames. The flashier games don't have any feeling.
