This is what happens when I get bored enough to try Non-Solid Solids in a Mario Engine. Perfect Solids and Jumpthroughs, and 99% Perfect Slopes(The Mask makes Mario hover a pixel above the slope sometimes). Still adding Features, but there may be a few bugs.

Use collision_rectangle(), it is very useful.

Yes, but place_free() works just as well with precise collisions off.

Update! There is only 1 Glitch that I can find, and it actually helps with Slopes, but hurts walking off the edge of a Solid Block.

Yay, I took the Glitch a ripped it out of the Code. It was an error in the Move to Contact with Solids part of the Step Event. I figured it out thanks to Game Maker's Debug Mode.

Sorta. It has some features the Static Engine I made doesn't have... yet. But those features will come.

Just a notice, the next update will be GIGANTIC! Multi-Sized Mario, QBlocks, and more! No crouching though because I hate Accelerated Movements, it tends to increase Lag.

I didn't find glitches but 30fps does not amuse me.You can use frame skipping to get 30fps motion from 60fps.Although 30fps is the minimum (as you stated) framerate for animated objects it still can come out blocky when scrolling.

30FPS also has less lag than 60FPS. I prefer 30FPS, but you can edit it if you want. =^/

I know but you can simply use frameskipping to get 30fps from 60fps.
