This game is godly, and it's absolutely, positively, nail-on-the-head perfect. I can't get this game
out of my head. It's so hard to explain how appealing it is; maybe it's the simplistic yet surprisingly deep story, maybe it's the amazing physics, and maybe it's the games absolutely stellar soundtrack, but something about this game makes me want
more, and
man does it deliver.
Gameplay:Aptly named
World of Goo, is an example of the perfect puzzle game (I wouldn't even call it a puzzle game, more of a logic/puzzle/challenge/physics/adventure/story-driven game, but even that doesn't give the perfect description) and here's why: The premise is
so simple; what you do is drag little balls of goo near other balls of goo to create a connection that supports a structure, and yet it's
so complex. First off: The physics in this game are absolutely incredible, the goo structure starts tipping and swaying if you build too much with little foundation, the structure will stick to walls, grip on ledges; it's absolutely perfect feeling. Secondly: The game has
tons and tons of different goo balls that you'll be using, some that catch fire, some that hang low, some that grip to walls better, and it all adds to the amazing experience even more. Thirdly: you'll see
everything exploited to it's fullest potential, which adds to the awesome gameplay even more; wind will affect how your goo reacts, if goo lands in water it will start hopping around, if a goo is suddenly disconnected by a hazard it will let out a squeel of shock and will look astonished. Simply put, the gameplay is fantastic.
10/10: PerfectStory: THIS GAMES STORY IS AMAZING. YOU WILL LOVE IT. I'm not kidding when I say this, but world of goo
actually has a story, and it's AMAZING. It really doesn't kick in until chapter 2, but once you experience it, you'll love it; it's so strange and quirky, yet strangely serious in it's own light, that it adds so much to the atmosphere you can't help but enjoy it. I won't tell you the story a.) because it's really ****ing hard to explain, and b.) because half of the fun is experiencing it for yourself.
9/10: Almost perfectSound: This games music is
****ing godly oh my god I love the people who created it. I'd write a whole gigantic paragraph in attempt to explain it to you, but I'll just give you some links, and let you decide for yourself.

Coupled with the amazing gameplay, the soundtrack adds that extra flair of amazingness to the game that I just can't get over. I give it a,
10/10: PerfectThere are other things in the game that I'd add to the review, but that would take way to much of my time. So I'll just end the review on a cliffhanger.
