Sprite competition #148, Open them to reach new areas

Congrats to ndsfreak for getting second and the rest who made it into the top 5.

This time the theme is:
DOORS
Without them, some areas become unaccessable, so it's up to you to make them.
A door doen't just stand there, they open up, close (which is usually the reverse of opening) and come in many shapes and sizes, so more than 1 frame is expected.
You can make any door you like. Try to be as creative as you can.
Color limit is 16. There is no size limit, but remember, more than 1 frame is required to qualify.

sounds neat. can there be more than one doors if all of them still have animations?

Oh one more thing, I don't know this since I'm still relatively new: can they be in the same stil as the previous comp I entered as long as I haven't started them yet?

The subject is actually so easy and uninteresting that I may, MAY, enter this.

Oh, and can we make more than 1 door? If we can, I'm making a sheet that has doors for every imaginable world. Well, most of them.

To be honest, the doors in the Mario games looks like real doors, so why would this not count?

Since this is the easiest subject I've ever seen, I'll probably enter this.

I guess I'll have a go and enter on this one.
Since it seens quite easy looking, but um...
yeah, heheh.

It would count if it were a normal door, but since this seems to be more of a character, it might not, unless a door with eyes was in a game.

If you want to though, you could remove the eyes and base it off of the Door Ghosts in Luigi's Mansion.

And for anyone needing any ideas, you have the Bowser quiz door in Paper Mario, the Thousand Year Door, the talking star door in M&L:PiT, and so on.

Yeah but they are just doors...and if we add eyes or anything you said it will be more like characters and may not qualify.

Did you see my suggestions? Two of them are actual characters that talk and such.


Also, I did forget one. The Kitty Door from SPM.

This is where I'm lost...I wanted to know if only normal Doors counted or Characters(Doors) too...
