Yes, any door. But the comps are focused towards Mario games. There have not been any characters like that.

This statement wouldn't make that much sense if we were to make doors that are already in the Mario series(unless we were to redesign doors, but this would make them different anyway). Does it really matter if your door isn't already in the Mario series? Any door design could be used in a real Mario game, and most door designs change throughout different games.

That's cool, but don't you think the opening animation is incomplete? Shouldn't it open all the way(I'd also get rid of the square edges around the top so the black corresponds with the shape of the door).

I actually just want the opening animation like that to be honest.
I think I might do more though, but I think I'd keep it like that for now.

But yeah.

I think it's quite good, when you consider that you can animate them fairly good.

I qualify your entry. It's a door, so...

And you are allowed to make more than 1 door, as long as each door has 2 or more frames of animation.

Hmm... I'll enter this, although I dunno how I'm going to make my submission unique.

That is real neat! For a second it looks as if the red doors grow bigger but it's actually them coming closer which is also a neat aspect.

Does that mean there is a 16 colour max on each sprite, or the whole sheet?
