I know I do. I'm also not a fan of people who steal characters without giving credit I GAVE CREDIT FOR MY FANGAMES SHUT UP. That is why I recently brought this to Nintendo's attention.

I sent a pretty long e-mail explaining that this game is a complete and utter ripoff of New Super Mario Bros, and that the cutscenes feature Nintendo characters. I recieved this reply two days later:

Also, MFGG gives credit to Nintendo; PETA didn't. Fangames usually include a "Mario is by Nintendo lol" disclaimer. Plus, PETA isn't exactly a company you want to look affiliated with. @nightwheel: My "plan" was to get PETA screwed. MFGG had no part in it. And ripping sprites from an unauthorized game isn't breaking the law, as far as I'm concerned. Honestly, you can all think I'm being hypocritical, but I don't care. I hate PETA enough to do anything to get a strike against them. -------------------- NEVER FORGET

Exactly

It's not like I'm reporting MFGG, mostly because MFGG is doing nothing wrong. Fansites aren't illegal, nor are fangames, as long as credit is given. They're actually good for Nintendo, because they make curious internet-goers interested in Mario games. PETA is a "professional" company, and stealing characters isn't something a widely known organization should be doing. I did the right thing, whether anyone likes it or not. Not that I care about the right thing

And besides, MFGG getting taken down would be a small pothole on the road to taking down PETA anyway.

Fangames are still breaking the law regardless if they give "Credit" or not, Nintendo's just to lazy to do anything about it because there's such a huge fanbase dedicated to making fangames
