Think of it this way

You're Nintendo. You find out that a small website that nobody knows about is making Mario games and giving credit. Simultaniously, you find out that PETA is making Mario games without giving credit.

I know both cases are illegal, but in the real world, who gives a **** about MFGG making fangames, especially when PETA is too?

Anyway, I thought you guys would actually understand, but it turns out most of you are completely missing the point, sooo

MFGG has tons and tons of fangames, spread throughout the internet and beyond, I wouldn't be surprised if people in China new about our site. And yet, unlike PETA's fangame, MFGG steals Nintendo's sprites.

Meanwhile PETA just has one fangame, that doesn't even steal the sprites (Most of them are custom made.) and has original content that don't copy mario games at all (Granted, a lot of it does copy a mario game.)

If anything, MFGG would be a much greater threat than PETA.

It's not like I'm reporting MFGG, mostly because MFGG is doing nothing wrong. Fansites aren't illegal, nor are fangames, as long as credit is given. They're actually good for Nintendo, because they make curious internet-goers interested in Mario games. PETA is a "professional" company, and stealing characters isn't something a widely known organization should be doing. I did the right thing, whether anyone likes it or not. Not that I care about the right thing

And besides, MFGG getting taken down would be a small pothole on the road to taking down PETA anyway.

My bad. It just seems like people are finding reason after reason to hate PETA.
