I changed the way the game is set up, before the levels you that are created by me and the members were going to be individually unlocked when you complete certain tasks. Now I've decided to make them a separate game that you can play after you clear the original SMB, which also means I'm going to make more than the 16 new levels I originally was going for. Also I added a couple things to the attached level editor and if you already created one for me you're are still free to go back and add to it. I don't need a name for the levels anymore but you can give them one if you want.

Keep in mind:

-Mario jumps 4 blocks high, 5 when running.

-Screen does not scroll left or vertical.

- No jumpthrough platforms or slopes.

-You can use other tiles, just be sure I'm going to edit them to better fit the game.

-There must be 3 +coins hidden in the level, they can't be inside blocks.

-No underwater or castle/boss stages.

So this is my third attempt at making a fan game, the first 2 being Luigi's New Mansion and Mario Bros. VS, both of which I got far in but lost interest after a while.
I started work on this game about 5 months ago. SMB+ is exactly what it sounds like, Super Mario Bros. with stuff added, basically a PC version of SMBDX except it's not 8-bit and there's different unlockables. I know that sounds terribly unoriginal but I'm quite proud of it. Made with GM7pro, the engine mirrors the original game as close as I could possibly get it and all 32 of the original levels are finished including the hard mode. Right now the game is about 75% done and I plan on making my own custom levels as well as adding new items. Once it's about 95% done I will post a demo, but in the mean time look at the screen shots and the comments and hopefully I'll actually finish this since it's closesest I've actually ever been to finishing a game.

This game isn't really just a clone, there are many things from the original that have been changed or updated such as the ability to swim outside of water stages and Luigi's fireballs which move in a jagged line uneffected by gravity. There's about 16 secret levels that also stray somewhat from the original SMB design, many being long and maze like with features from other Mario games. But overall I'm aiming for the game to still feel like SMB1 despite any changes or additions made.
