btw he addresses the issue of the complex eye on pages 143-146. (specifically, he discusses it for more than one paragraph. the first paragraph in the section on page 143 is a favorite of creationist quote-miners).

People always quote it like it's the complete understanding of natural selection. More than half of my book collection is just Biology books on evolution (the occasional taxonomy of microbes).

I need a book on plasmid origins.


Also Lightning, sucks you have to learn alongside creationists. Do they shout out "Boo" and stuff?

nah there were like two or three believers of intelligent design (who raised their hands when asked, anyway). I go to a pretty challenging school that focuses on engineering, science, and technology, so the people here are generally pretty smart.

it's just that I don't think many of them understood what we were talking about in class. we're continuing our discussion on monday tho' =| lulz
