It's cool, but it looks like you eye-traced the SMB3 line-arts and changed a few light sources etc.

Thats not a good reason and you know it.

Though it might not work, seeing as we've already got 80 odd badges and I don't know what the limit is.

I'd also need images. 72 of them to be precise.

Don't start that again. This is all custom. I looked at a SMB3 tileset for 10 seconds every, like, 40 minutes for what to do. NOT TO COPY THE LINE ART. That's some Black Boo hate right there.

I like it when SGG enters comps. He's like a CPU player since he has all 5+ of every badge. It's a nice challenge.

Im completly with SGG on this one. Im not even him and im tired of everyone complainging about his skills.

I mean, how would you feel if you were a really good spriter and people got mad at you everytime you went up your sprites against theirs?

Ya I also think that people should stop complaining about his skills. I mean why should he stop at what he is good at. Plus its more fun when experts join in these contests it makes it more a challenge and help us non good spriters to get even better at spriting trying to beat his sprites.

No, I don't hate him; I'm just stateing(spelling?) why certain others "hate" him entering recent comps.

Another thing though is everyone is complaining that he has 5+ of all badges and that he wins all the time. To have 5+ of every badge he would have to have lost at least 10. Hey, he even lost the last one.

stylization is fun

A lot of these entries are excellent, but they have no unique style to them and strongly resemble the SMB3 tilesets. Try to add some individuality to the sprites.

Yeah, that was why I went for the Mushroomy Kingdom look. I just thought it would look different.

Ok im getting tired of people not liking Shyguy Grey being in the Sprite Comps. thats segregation and that is wrong. not just for him but for anyone who has 5+ badges. if he enters a comp then you should just try extra hard to win. and you desid the winner you voted for him so dont complain

Yeah, but it's just that people vote him purely out of practice. For example, whenever a guy like Omega or Shawn enters, even with a lousy sprite, 70-80% of the voters vote for them. And that practice has carried on to SGG even though he doesn't do nothing with the badges.

SGG, what are you gonna do with those wasted badges? It's like that if you get in the second place, the second place badge gets thrown into a river with a rock attached, a.k.a. it renders useless and unavailable to others who may have wanted it (and perhaps even earned it).

Maybe I'll stop now (I already got banned for this **** for like no reason), but really SGG, take a minute out of your life and read my post.
