This is starting to tick me off, seriously! I'm tired of Hello's engine being edited over and over again and being put on MFGG and being considered "original". What happened to TGF2/MMF2?

Quite simply, Clickteam costs money.
I've seen people come up with many reasons for their preference of Clickteam's products, but most of them are from a time when Clickteam was the only thing available. Now that people have a free alternative, Game Maker, we see alot less of Clickteam.
From what I have seen, Clickteam users generally tend to win arguments against the GM users. However, regardless of weather or not Clickteam is superior to GM, most people consider game making to be nothing more than a hobby, a little extra quality doesn't seem very worthwhile if it costs money. Not to someone who just makes games for fun, anyway.
If it makes you feel any better, I don't plan on using a pre-made engine for anything I make.

pretty much any fangaming community out there was "founded" on TGF and/or MMF
years ago
as in a lot of the "oldbie" fangamers lost interest in the hobby altogether over the intervening years
EDIT: also cost isn't an issue because i bet very few people on here actually own a legal copy of TGF/MMF
