So am I the only one thinking how they 'cut' the cutscenes makes it feel like something is lacking?

I mean, it'd be great with some kind of movie between each campaign to connect them, but right now they aren't at all.

The campaigns aren't supposed to be connected. They're alternate storylines. If they were rescued at the end of every single one, there would be no reason for the next one to start up.
