*drawing Competition* - Winter Wonderland

Congradulations to Dr. Wario for getting second place in the last competition.

This drawing competition: It's Winter in the Mushroom Kingdom! Or Beanbean Kingdom. Since Winter in upon us, draw what the Mario Universe is like during Winter. They could be doing anything, such as having a snowball fight or ice skating or something.

Top 5 voting will begin December 11th and voting for first/second place will be the next day.

Yeah. Draw your hearts out!

Crap. I intended to put some color behind the black, but I stupidly merged the layers and couldn't get it separate again, after closing the file yada yada. Still, it's kinda nice. No one surrenders from a snowball fight.

No, essentially, color in mario, but behind the black lines so the dither would take care of the shading for me.

EDIT: Actually, I think it's still possible to work with it. Just open up MSpaint and recolour the white to whatever colour you want, using the eraser tool. You do know how to recolour in MSpaint, right?

Yep, basically. I'm assuming adobe has a replace color with, and then also lets you select transparent BG. Or... Oh stupid me. I could've replaced the white with the colors, using the replacer. Oh well. Thank you. Does this means it counts as a collab piece? :P

Nono, you can use that if you want (if I got the colors the way you want them), no need for it to be a collab. It only took a couple minutes.

See, what I did was make a new multiply layer in photoshop and then just colored over everything. With multiply layers, you can't color over black =D Very handy.

Considering most of us are from the northern hemisphere where the holidays are in winter, I'd say yes, put in some holiday stuff. But I guess Dustin should be the one to decide that.

I liked the idea of giving Bowser SOME non-evilness, and I think winter would be the perfect time for that. Plus... I think I drew Peach pretty well this time.
