This is a simple mini game where you race tons of other shyguys using various items to help you along the way. the goal is to reach the small spinning shyguy with a bow before your enemys, you will do a few tricks in the air and fall. Soon after the game will restart. Right now there is a player two who is completely black and is controled with ASDW, but he can't get hurt by or use items.
Player one uses arrow keys and space to use items and move. R restarts the game.

Known bugs:

Sometimes CPU's get stuck in the ground. working on it.
Occasionaly when you or the CPU fall and hit the ground you will be suspended in mid air and the thwack sound will play until you or the cpu get up. Working on that also

Future updates:

Even more items
Deffinately more levels.
Some more Fixed bugs
Custom character creation: Maybe
Level builder: likely
different characters
And more!

Updates:
A bug or two fixed
Character slides on the ground when you hit it too fast.
a few more sounds and items
the items include: (
Shroom: Run faster for a short period of time
fire flower: Throw four fire balls
Shell: Rams into enemys continiously
Boot: Basicly a double jump you can only use once)
a few effects
Fire balls don't hurt you on creation.

I would honestly be more interested if you didn't pop a game every now and then.

Though the game is nice, I can see the idea going somewhere. Its like Mario Kart but as a platformer.
But its hard to figure out who is you. And your own fireballs can damage you.

Actually I was working on this a few weeks ago and decided to show it now. Sorry though.

It was meant to be like that. I felt like you should be able to be harmed by your own items. But I need to fix a small glitch with it too so thanks for pointing that out.

Make it have time to move before it can hurt enemies und yourself.

And for that "Its hard to figure out who you are":

Make a P1 above the Charaktershead...

Make 3 objects. One that is called obj_ left, and one that is obj_right, and one last one that is called obj_jump

When the computer collides with them make them do what you want. Also half of the Ai, such as spriting and top speed and such was already programmed into the player one.

Also expect an update very soon.

When the collide with it I made it so they add hspeed at a random pase.

With even the most tiny alterations can create a big difference.

It's a nice start so far.
Just that random suspended in air glitch happened to me.
Also, at the start, the item box doesn't appear where it normally is throughout the level. But once you go higher up in the level, it stays in one spot.

I made it so it draws an item box above your head, not the top of the screen. I don't know why it doesn't go out of the room but it's a good thing.


So basicly, it was meant to be that way.
