So who feels like running some IRC events

I fail to see how fun events could make it "worse".

We could maybe have sprite sharing or sprite workshops. I'd be happy to participate.

nono, In some areas of my School, IRC is inaccessible; using a few different clients.

A whole lot of irc servers usually offer a ssl port.

I don't have time to do weekly IRC events and I don't have any content for them

but I do have a timetable I can fill in!

There's a forum game I'd love to try, but I'd have to set it up and I don't think it woud be IRCable.

You know you just don't want your little close-knit IRC sphere to be any different

more like i am saddened at how bad the new irc is and an attempt at "events" would probably make it even worse

mfgg bosses was pretty cool for the few that attended

Not going to lie, the only real bad part is the whole Goonbot spam bot thing.

it worked wonderfully well for NCFC

all I really think that can be entertainable in IRC are worskshops and games like quizes or uno

i went to another forum that had a sort of "academy" on saturdays

basically, from 4PM to 11PM, everyone made drawings and flash animations according to a chosen topic

after an hour or so, everyone showed everyone else what they had done, and a new topic was put up

Yeah that needs to come back.
