er; isn't it primarily used by people making fun of those who diagnose themselves with asperger as a crutch of an explanation for why they suck in social settings?

Primarily, but I know people who use the term talking about theirselves for the laughs it generates. but assburgers isn't funny, so

I have a short attention span, hyperactive and pretty smart compared to other people my age. One thing I do know is I have ADHD. -------------------- i stole this.

ADHD is ADD, but you're hyper. ADD means you have a Short Attention Span.

Asperger's mainly affects your development.
