Tip: Don't use Game Maker!, You heard me!

First of all this won't be a pointless rant... I'm here to express a reason...
Game Maker seems like a great program at first but cracks show...
You can't make really great Fan Games... or you can but it's gonna be a re-run of SMW over and over.. (zzzzzz...)

Macromedia/Adobe Flash is a great program for fan games... The coding takes a while and so does the sprite animating but once you have got some experience you can make some beautiful fan games

Just a suggestion...

What if you want to use Game Maker to make a game that's NOT a platformer?

Not very well documented suggestion there

and if anything, I'd say flash is worse for game making, I'd suggest MMF2 or MechaSource (BUT IT'S A CRIME TO SUGGEST YOUR OWN TOOLS SO JUST IGNORE THAT)

You're either a troll or you have no idea what you're talking about.

Game Maker has a lot of potential and I've seen many great games made with it.
In fact, you can create almost everything with Game Maker, just like with MMF2.

Of course, it is more limited than something like C or Java, but for our needs it's still quite a powerful tool.


This discussion is pointless, because it's obviously an attempt to make false assumptions.
Next time I see you trolling, you'll get a day of "vacation".
