eh i'll just leave this here.

was gonna actually try on this comp because i like spriting non-mario characters once in a while, but spriting them in an already established style is too hard for me :s

its meant to be MVsDK1 btw but the more i look at it, the more i realise how crap it is

Well there is too many colors. You could conserve some shades, and Link's eyes are enormous.

theres meant to be quite alot of colours cool yoshi, but thats mainly because the actual MVsDK1 sprites are renders, i know about conserving shades and stuff aswell, if we could sprite in any style i would have a kickass entry.

I think he meant that they took 3D models and made sprites out of them.

Which would involve rendering, regardless of whether it was done on the DS.

So his comment is valid.

The head is too jagged, and there should be a frame in between so the animation looks crisp. Great concept, but it needs to focus more on the details.

No, the DS can render 3D models. So can the GBA, somewhat.

As for the sprite: The eyes aren't clearly defined on MvsDK. Try not to define them on yours.
