Sorry dude, just by looking at the first pose, it looks like the face is an edit of Mario's when he goes in a pipe.

So doing SMB3 Ridley.

Maybe M&L if I'm REALLY bored.

Or an SPP Ridley.

you may not have ment it to be harsh but thats the way I'm reading it and IF you look at it he is taller than Mario and sence I just got hit twice withen the same day I Drop out of this comp.

It's not an edit in any way, and I didn't even use Mario for reference(except for size reference). I used the same color palette though. I'll take the accusation as a compliment of my spriting abilities.

Holy crap. Why would it be a joke entry?
I wouldn't have gone through all the trouble I did to make this sprite sheet just for a joke.

BTW, I edited it to fix the problem of the smile looking like a moustache.

Your entry looks like a mixture of Captain Falcon and Ganondorf with the head of a SMB3 Mario sprite.

I just want to know why Ganondorf is Smiling?

Its just that I've seen you sprite better, and it looks like an edit.

I was only using the palette I had, and I couldn't find the full SMB3 palette, so I worked with the colors I could find. But I swear I didn't edit anything. I swear on my ability to post in MFGG that I made that entire sprite from scratch including all of the sheet, while looking at a picture of Ganondorf.

Look, I'll remove the sheet from the competition. I thought it was a cool and original idea, but I just ended up humiliating myself.


P.S. I know I have sprited better sprites, but this is my first time trying to sprite in the SMB3 style. I'm used to more high-res spriting. And he is smiling because I always see Ganondorf smiling in OOT.

P.P.S. If anyone wants to give me ideas on how to improve the sprite, then PM me. I am open to criticism. I am just not open to being told my effort is a joke.

Actually, if someone finds proof that it WAS editted/based off of something, then yes, we can claim it was editted. However I'm sure it isn't editted so don't worry about that.

The head in general needs to be bigger. YIDS Baby heads tend to be unproportionally big in comparison to their bodies, which is what I personally think makes them cute.

Also, the lightsource is weird (unless YIDS is like that, which I doubt). It's apparently from the left and right.

I suggest looking at a YIDS baby (like Baby Mario) and take some style tips from it. This doesn't mean edit Baby Mario to look like Captain Falco though.

Also, are those bubbles and bag allowed? I'd call those edits as they look exactly like the originals.
