uh "teams" basically increase the chance of a game being canned, since most teams only have one person doing each "piece" of the game
basically instead of 1 chance to lose interest now you have X chances to lose it, since the loss of any person pretty much bombs the game (and this doesn't even take into account conflicts between team members)

After a while, my sentiments have changed about finishing fangames. Read on if you wish to see what I mean.
The only person I am sure this applies to is myself, but I want to know whether this does to others. All the games I have finished, with one or two short exceptions, were made for somebody. They were shown to someone I knew and made for that person. Dedicating a game to a person makes it so much harder to quit that game, and usually it is the only way one of my games survives.
Does this apply to any of you? Are there other special conditions which make it far easier to finish a fangames? Because I have discovered that the usual "tips," while perfect on paper, do not seem to work, at least for me. (if they work well for you, it is a whole different story) I know one working method; having two fangames at once.
I realize now that the tips do not seem to work half as well as I thought, for me and some others. What I am looking for now are tried and true tips that you have personally used and worked well with more than once.
