Finishing Games

for what? just out of curiosity...

Well my school has a computer science class.

And our current project is to work with a team of 3 to make a game or program of our choice...

Why is making games for school weird?

I have about ten fully programmed game engines in my projects folder, only two of them have any chance of getting done. After all that work...

Ok, since these two topics are identical I have decided to merge them. Since the posts from the new topic stay in the same order, I think it works well that way.

Because at my school, we don't learn anything at all about programming in any way, shape or form, let alone making computer games, and I don't know any schools that do do this.

Well, as for me, I try my best to snag time to make sure all my fangame projects are "complete"/"full games". Once I have a fangame in production status, I always want to be sure that it gets done from beginning to end. I don't like having projects being "scrapped" because it's like failure to me.

@ TC: I wholeheartedly agree with you about the "two projects" thing because that's what I'm dealing with now. I'm FINALLY starting to begin level construction on the first one, and I still need to work on the game engine for my second.
