Isn't that what the resources at MFGG are for, to use them? Not everybody has the ability to make/edit their own sprites. Better to use a complete, fully animated sprite set than to use a bunch of different, clashing styles just because people are tired of seeing SMB3 sprites.

This is a great game, however I think there should be a way to reset the level rather than the entire game when you get stuck (and you will).

I mean, good grief you guys. If you want a game that doesn't use SMB3/SMA4 sprites, make your own.

And we would like others to do the same. I'd rather see some effort put into some creative sprites no matter the quality.

I disagree. When it comes to graphics, aesthetics come before overusage.

I played all of the original SM games through several times. The point of fangaming is to take this world and make new games out of it, not redesigned levels.

So really I'm bored as **** of those old graphics, spriting isn't hard, why won't people do it?

Not everybody can make/edit sprites.

I like how such demands are being made here and you guys aren't paying for it at all. Hello did this by himself. For fun. He doesn't have the fully equipped team official developers do. Programmers usually do not make graphics, graphic artists usually don't program, etc.

And if I'm correct in my understanding of the way things run here, you guys frown upon team requests. So, in the meantime, what is the point of having resources on the site if somebody shouldn't use them? It's wonderful that you have an opinion and can express it here, but if Hello isn't an artist what is he supposed to do?

Singing isn't hard either, but quality singing is another story. Some people just do not have the same talent X person does and it is unreasonable for you to expect it.

Then there's guys like me who CAN sprite, but what I want to do is get into the meat of the game development, not spend months on end getting graphics together, especially when I can never settle on a style.

This was a good game, but it's way too hard for me. I think you should add a way to save your progress - even if it's just using passwords to return you to the level you last got through.
