Microtroid

So I've come up with some weird Metroid-esque game called "Microtroid," a side scrolling shooting platformer. The only reason I'm not making an official topic is that I'm at a loss for Metrooid programming skills, so I plan to do this in MechaSource.

Story:
The Space Pirates are planning a full scale invasion of the Galactic Federation's main base, the Nautilus. They knew Samus would stop them right away if they tried, so they wised up and had thier top scientists to create a virus to infect and immobilize Samus so their plans could go underway. Ridley charged himself with personally spreading the virus himself. They sent out a false distress signal on a frigate to lure Samus into their trap. She arrives on the frigate, and is immediately ambushed by the pirates. One managed to get behind her and inject the serum. Samus retreated and returned to the Olympus. Immediately after she docked the ship, she blacked out. Several GF troopers boarded the ship in concern because Samus haden't disembarked right away. They found her unconcious, and took her to the medical lab. Shortly after, Samus awakened, and was given the bad news of an incurable virus, as she had heard once before. The doctors asked her to remover her power suit for more diagonstics. They later discovered that the virus could only be cured from the inside, and with relative ease. They assigned Corporal Marv Marshall to the mission of entering Samus' body and destroying the virus, since she was such a valuable asset to lose. He accepted the mission, and with that, the first mostly non-Samus Metroid game is started.

You need screenshots or a demo for a FGD main section topic, or as I call them, "Official."

No. It will mostly be organic looking like MKF's Leviathin levels.

So does this guy get upgrades somehow? And what style sprites are you using? Custom?

Yes. How is still undetermined...wait, they can be sent by GF trasmission. and I have a sprite sheet. It's in Fusion style if I'm not mistaken.
