My new reference, Because my last one was stupid.

Mr.Aforcer pointed out that my old reference looked too much like Madam Ki's, so I decided to make a new one.
I know it's pretty un proportional, but I think it's pretty awesome. My signature holds it because I'm too lazy to post it.

Looks like a ninja dressed for winter weather. Great job, Saberie.

Design-wise: Interesting idea, but I don't think the jagged edges do much justice to it. If those are supposed to be torn clothes, then I question why all tears are precisely triangular shaped at definite, allotted intervals. And if that's just the cut of the design, then I think the excess of that style looks a little... unappealing to the eye. So many zigzags are just a little taxing on my sense of vision.

Also, I think the colours clash a little. On the bottom (pants, shirt, gloves), you've got an earthy colour scheme going on, and then towards the top (scarf, hat thing, eyes), you've got a cool (as in the opposite of warm) colour scheme. It's a little conflicting.

Also, she reminds me of Sheik, somehow...

On the note of the picture's mechanics, well... I'm sure you're aware the anatomy's a little off already.

I wasn't really asking for critizism, but thanks for the advice anyway.

Why did you post it then?

So I could show people that I'm not using my old reference anymore.

I so called it (Saberie showed it to me before she uploaded it). Anyways, I kind of suggested the color scheme; but if you knew the actual character (which is in the comics she's written, I think), she kind of has a personality to fit those colours, which is why I suggested those.

And I think it was based on Sheik; Saberie's a big fan.

Now, I'm going to repeat what I said about it when I saw it IRL.

Probably should have used only one blue color, but at least the ones you gave it fit. The hands look a little weird; I can't tell if they're backwards or forwards. And one leg is thicker.

She's squatting down, and her right leg is a little bit more in front.

Saberie, I'd like to know, what was your old reference for comparison sake?

Anyway, it looks cool, but the legs are kinda weird.

I love the color scheme. Such beautiful vibrant colors!

The line art is crisp, the anatomy is perfect, and the coloring job is fantastic!

I love all those colours you used! They sure stand out and glow!

Uhhh.... if you guys really find problems with his/her art, just ask him/her if he/she's willing to take some critique. If he/she answers yes, then critique him/her.

The colours remind me of sweet spring day. The browns and tans are like the Earth below my curled, bare feet, and the blues are like the vast, beautiful sky above -- cloudless and breath-taking. They almost seem to whisk me back to the days of my warm childhood. I feel so nostalgic and pleasant when I view this picture.

Christ, Ashura, the least you could do is throw in some "edited by" lines

It reminds me of certain times of the day, the clear blue sky, the sun as it sets, I am impressed by how well chosen the colors were.
