What is this? Commander?, German speakers come now

IGN got some strange information. A new Wii exclusive is coming out in 2009 titled "Commander." A sneak-peek video was released. The video is found here. I don't know what to make of this. It seems so strange to me. I speak some German and could only understand a little of what the dude in the video was saying.

I know the last sentence before they lifted the sheet over that TV was "Give it here! Now!" Or something like that.

I dunno what the **** happened but when I clicked the lower pink dot, my entire computer shut down and had a drive corrupted. So click at your own risk guys.

Ok. So, so far we have a strange looking video with some German soldiers and some weird TV thing. A image with the words "I am only a man." Another strange image of something. And some up-beat amazing MP3 that doesn't match the mood of the images or the videos. I think they're just ****ing with us.

The file information might have clues in it?

Eh, cut off the column names, first column is the track name, second is the artist and third is the composer information.

anyways it wouldn't even be illegal because they aren't making you pay for the file

it's probably the first level's music and the name of the track seems to be descent which imo would imply that this is a shooter

Well, true I guess it wouldn't be illegal. There isn't a way to get it through payment yet, so you have a point there.

Back on topic:

I got the feeling it was a shooter too, but the music sounds like it's a platformer.

now there's a 10 digit number with a 4 that links you to here(looks like the developer of the game to me)

Holy **** there are TONS of images in between that brief glimpse of some shmup when the voice starts, now if I could only get prnt screen working in Windows Media Player...

Creepiest frame:

A lot of the images are space related. What could this mean?

Tons of space, then they move to underwater, then they switch to old 70s looking photos, then weird **** for a few frames, then LA

Then the Leanardo picture.

But yeah, Space is the majority, plus there was that long image of a shmup in there.

there are several new things on the page now

the game appears to be called Bit.Trip: Beat which is a mix between pong and music but doesn't really look that fun

the gameplay sounds interesting actually, might give it a shot


but the cryptic-ness of the website leads me to believe that there may be more to the game than they're giving away
