It's not like you can test the hypothesis. Let's just say I'm right.

Well let's go maths then. One is infinite force and the other can withstand infinite force; you could therefore say the force collides with the object and stops as it can't produce more than infinite force, which is what the object can withstand.

Then the problem comes from the meaning of the words "unstoppable force" in the sense that you can't look at the problem rationally.

So yeah they swap. It's pretty obvious (look at all those ****ing words I used).

There's no such thing as "unstoppable force". There's just energy. The energy keeping the immovable object in place is exactly the right amount to stop the unstoppable force.

It's a boring answer, but it works.

I see where you're coming from, and I kinda agree with you, but it just doesn't make sense, in the way that an unstoppable force can't be stopped. In any case, the immovable object must be stronger (or equal to) than the unstoppable force, but then the unstoppable force would be stopped, and that would suggest that the unstoppable force isn't really unstoppable, even though we're letting it be unstoppable.

the answer comes out to be that the unstoppable force stops
screw maths the force goes through

If it's like the strongest sword and strongest shield they cancel each other out.
