A Mario Location Guide, I had to.

There's many strange places Mario's been to ever since he got sucked into that pipe with his brother, Luigi. Now let's make a guide about those places.

Mushroom Kingdom- Mario and Luigi's hometown and where all the greatest adventures take place. It's inhabited by Toads, under the rule of a human monarch, Princess Peach. There's a castle at the center of this kingdom, surrounded by shops and houses shaped like shrooms. It's divided into many sections, but there are 8 main lands; Grass Land, Desert Land, Water Land, Giant Land, Cloud Land, Ice Land, Pipe Land, and Dark Land. Dark Land is actually King Bowser Koopa's main base.

Subcon- It's unknown if this place is real or not, but for all we know, it exists in people's dreams. That's the 1st way to get to Subcon. The second way is through a portal in a story book (a la Doki Doki Panic). Inhabited by mythical creatures, this world was once ruled by an evil frog tyrant, Wart. Mario and his friends, fortunately, were able to kick him out, giving peace to the Subcons.

Sarasa Land Considered the "Asia" of the Mushroom Kingdom area, this small kingdom is actually quite crowded. It's divided into 4 sections: Birobuto, Chai, Muda, and Easton. The Alien Invader Tatanga once attempted to conquer this land, but Mario thwarted his evil plans, and saved Luigi's girlfriend, Princess Daisy.

Peach is a Toad.

The spotted-part of Toads is simply a hat.

Dark Land - (deserves its own little space >=( ) A deserted land with mountians and lava lakes. The only things that grow here are huge poison mushrooms and Piranha Plants. It lies on the edge of the Mushroom Kingdom, and is being dictated by Bowser, the Koopa King. The only inhabitants are Bowser and his 7 kids, and the Koopa Klan Members/Bowser's Baddies.

Actually, for the Mushroom Kingdom, the houses in Toad Town (closest town to the castle) are shaped like normal houses. The people in small villages live in Mushroom shaped houses.

This is insane. But anyway! I thought Peach was a human.

Somehow the Mario brothers found a warp-pipe here while doing a plumbing job that lead to a land where Mushrooms make stuff grow, Flowers give you the ability to make Fireballs come out of your hand, and a leaf that gives you ears and a tail and the ability to fly.

The Koopa Kingdom: The dark opposite and rival kingdom of the Mushroom Kingdom in every way possible, ruled by none other than King "Bowser" Koopa. Like the Mushroom Kingdom it has many lands under its power, including Dark Land and parts of Dinosaur Land, and once an island that was parallel to Yoshi's Island in the dark world. Many castles for Bowser were built for this kingdom, residing mostly underground in caves with seas of raging fire and lava. The Koopa Kingdom has a vast army under its power, and an armada of ships, boats, and tanks. Where the capitol of the Koopa Kingdom is.. is unknown.

Kitchen Island: An island where Captain Syrup's forces once resided. It has a beach, a giant teapot, caverns and haunted forests, all conveniently named after kitchen appliances and foods. On the far end of the island once sat Syrup's fortress, which once kept a giant golden statue of Princess Peach Toadstool. The fortress was destroyed by Wario, and the statue was taken by Mario. Wario once earned a castle there, given to him by a genie, but he has since moved to other places to build other castles with his riches.

Wario Planet: Wario is given this planet with his face on it by a genie if he beats the game with the MAX amount of coins in his bank (999,999 or something) once all his treasure is counted up. (It's true, I've done it. Try it with the '16 selects when paused' cheat, maxxing out your coins every level.) Not much is known about this planet.

YOSHI's ISLAND - This island is famous for its yoshis! Mario life would have been cut short if the yoshis weren't so kind.....

Warp Zone - Although there are smaller "warp zones" scattered throughout the Mushroom Kingdom, the Warp Zone appears to be located far east of most of the Kingdom. It's an island consisting of nothing more than pipes that travel to Desert Hill, Ocean Side, Big Island, The Sky, Iced Land, Pipe Maze, or Dark Land.

DK Isle: The home of Donkey Kong. It is techinically considered part of the mario unverise.... Mario once crusaded this island and took Donkey Kong captive for a while.....

No way. Peach is human. Otherwise, she'd look more like a Toad. If she weren't human, how would this explain Queen Bean who looks exactly like her race of people, the Beanish?

Anyway, speaking of which...

BeanBean Kingdom - Inhabited by a population of humanoid legumes known as the Beanish. They are allies with the Mushroom Kingdom and where much of Mario and Luigi's adventure takes place in Superstar Saga (someone add on to this, I haven't finished the game yet )

Isle Delfino - Sometimes called Delfino Island. It has several locales including Bianco Hills, Gelato Beach, Ricco Harbor, Noki Bay, Pianta Village, and some others. There's also a theme park, Pinna Park, which really seems to be aimed at three-year-olds, but whatever. The two main groups of people living on this island are the Piantas (the large mountain folk) and the Nokis (the small and shy seaside and underwater folk).

If the Mushroom Kingdom is really a "kingdom," wouldn't that mean Peach would have to be a queen? Otherwise it'd be the Mushroom Principality.
