A lot of people have ripped Alvin Earthworm's Super Mario Bros. Z sprites. Well, I want to, too! How can I?

Why the heck would you want to rip something that's already been ripped?

I guess Alvin created customs of his own, and Goombill wants those...

He said himself that people have ripped the sprites from the flashes before.

Unless he means that people have only ripped some of them, and he's trying to rip some of the rest.

Whenever the sprite shows up that you want, press Prnt-Scrn, and paste it in Paint.

There are VERY few Macintosh Users on MFGG AFAIK, so it'll be hard to find someone that can help you.

Unnecessary. Also, when ending a Sizze tag, just type [/SIZE]. It will return the size to normal, no matter what size you set it to.

I don't know for sure, but I was looking at some Leopard screenshots and it looks like there's a screen capture application. It sort of looks like a pair of scissors cutting a window, and it's located on the dock. It's also called Capture, if you wanted to know.

This thread among several other threads in the Help! board is full of idiots. They post for the sake of posting regardless of their given amount of assistance.
People who have helped you in any way so far: 0

Adobe Flash movies usually store the sprites inside them as ordinary embedded images, PNGs in this case. You may retrieve the images, among several others with a Flash Decompiler. There are two mainstream Flash decompilers for Mac. Gordon and Trillix. Trillix is far superior.
Both are shareware.

This 'printscreen' function works in Mac with the key-combination Shift-Command-(control) 4 (or 3)
If the number you pushed is 3, it will take a shot of the whole screen.
If it is 4, you may choose the area you want to take the shot from. If you push spacebar while in this state, you can choose an active object to take the shot from (a window, a dock item, etc..).
If you included control as a part of the key combo, it will not generate a PNG to your desktop, but will add the image to your clipboard.
However, this is not the method you should use.

Wow. Get off your high horse already.

Some people did try to help.

I doubt even my posts were useless either, since I was trying to inject what appeared to be common sense into the discussion.

EDIT (after reading the subsequent post): I'm taking this to PMs rather than making more posts, since this is not the place.

If by 'trying to help' you meant 'hearing lots of complaints of how nobody helps anyone on the help board and going there and actually attempting to be of assistance in every possible thread to seem like they're helping while they're actually just posting **** onto threads' then yeah, you're right.

You did not help either. Not one bit.
He is aware that the sprites have already been ripped, and for a reason or another, he wants to do so, too. Asking why he needs help is not helping.

Yeah yeah, everyone at least tried.
But notice how there also was useless questioning[1], speculation[2], vague information[3], instructions to sub-optimal results[4], and wow, some actual help[5].

Nobody should ever post in a topic if they can not help the person. If you have a clue of how to do it, please, elaborate, but 'prntscrn evry frame' is not helping, nor is questioning the person's needs.
