VHS format finally officaly dead

I have that problem too with emulators

They still sell VHS tapes at my local shopping center, blank ones anyway.

Too bad my VCR broke ;_;

Actually, I too just recently I popped in The Lion King with some friends. We watched the VHS for 20 minutes before the picture shat out, so we changed to the remastered DVD. Truthfully that was the first time I had witnessed the remastered-ness they always talk about.

They're not, they're just stating that the last producer of VHS movies switched to another format, which makes the producing of VHS = 0

Usually I'd care for something like this but tbqh VHS has outlived its lifespan by years now. I mean you can record more hours of TV programs via a set-top-box in better quality. It completely outclasses VHS in every possible way.

Sure it had a good run but it's been being phased out for a good decade now.
