Jlh's Mario Tileset!, My first one.

Ok, so I made my first tileset, I see that there is something weird on it, but I don't know what. Probably the horrible shading on the Noteblock.

And yes, I'm gonna update it!

The cloud and the noteblock are shaped VERY wrongily.

Ok, at first fix the shading. Then, look at the grass/snow/sand on it, it has a weird shape. Try to come up with something different. And another tileset tip; you should not make a grass tileset, recolor it and make a snow/desert one of it. Try to make one covered in snow, not in white grass or one made out of sand. It's also a bit blocky. (Outlines)

Sorry if it sounds too offensive, I just want to help.

pretty much sums it up. Its still a very good start though.

Try to fix up the shading a bit for sure. (Not that I can be one to give shading advice since Im awful at shading)

Okay, this will help me lots fixing it Haha, no problem, I wanted to see what was wrong on it. :3

I really like the terrain tiles alot but the blocks and cloud need some work.

Update! I'll come up with other grass tiles, I'll keep the original because I see them cool too.

"Fixed" the shading and the horrendus note block. The cloud is still messy, tough.

Anyways, go on.
