If so they did it millions of years ago and we're just hearing it now.

Plus this isn't from anything intelligent, because its just one, admittedly loud, but still one frequency of radio wave, and an alien civilization that could figure out how to send radio waves this loud but not how to alter their frequency would have to be fairly dumb.

I think sustaining life on this planet is more important than finding an alien civilization. I would rather live than find out there are aliens.
