Argh. Even though I love this competition idea, I doubt I'll be able to participate due to my workload.

Maybe I still can try making something, if I somehow get a good idea and if I begin working on it several days from now when I've gotten my school-related affairs in order.

So like you're a coin in this dark platform level (because when mario isn't nearby in the levels the lights go out) and you start hearing the mario theme and the screams of dead goombas and other enemies in increasing volume coming closer to you.

But that mario is a quick sucker, so you'd better get in position when he comes through or he'll miss your little coin ass.

If someone can tell me how to make or direct me to a tutorial of:

Making a looping gif OR a procedurally generated effect of old film/ film grain
