Anyone feel like playing Rock Band 2 with me, today?

my gamertag was posted in the Wifi forum, though i'm not exactly sure if it's correct


But yes, I like drumming to the game, and wondering if anyone else on their 360 wants to join up with me and play songs.

yes because i want to give him another reason not to bring the game over

but hey i've got his 360, thats all that matters.

when a Rock Band comes out, i must be one of the first ones to get it


and seeing as it took months for the Wii version to come out, i just had to get the 360 version


also the graphics are pretty - not that i would care too much, but on an HDTV, it's much clearer to see my hits than on the Wii

I kind of wish they did keysounds rather than just having the audio play or not, since it allows you to know if you hit a note too soon or too late.

i'm not a fan of that either


hey, i hit that cymbal note but accidentally missed the snare, that doesn't mean i have to suddenly lose my awesome lasting cymbal part

If you're doing guitar or bass and are constantly strumming a part, it'd really help to hear it then since you may not be strumming up and down consistently and will eventually mess up due to that.

because if you mess it up once, it plays the nasty sound, but then doesn't continue until you manage to hit the notes right consistently - and that's difficult to do on a song when you get out of sync and try to get back on


it's like my troubles with Who Are You on the last part when they have the alternating cymbal and snare/hi-hat - if i hit the wrong one first, *****, ain't nothin' you can do to hit the rest of that

I guess that's why they rank Master Exploder as such a hard song.

you know something else i found out yesterday - the reason i couldn't nail the hi-hat in Everlong is because the drumkit is so damn low-tone sensitive - you need to hit the hi-hat like you're doing a drum roll in order to get it - on a real drumkit, i just need to lightly tap the hi-hat with my sticks to get the same effect, but oh no, on the Rock Band drum kit, you have to hit that thing like you're doing a Chinese drum

oh, BTW, my brother will most likely be playing


and he seems intent on doing the guitar, but maybe i can persuade him to do bass

My brother broke my drums since if you weren't hitting it insanely hard, half the time it wouldn't respond, and even then, sometimes it acts like you hit it twice very quickly if you hit it too hard.
