Just played a little of it, it's MUCH better then before but still needs more then 1 attack.
Also, the over world is nice, but I was thinking SMRPG style. Still good though, getting there! wink.gif

Thanks man and there will be more attacks. I have plans of adding more weapons, special attacks, and even attack items, but I have not started that yet.
Also I have tried a isometric game before, like Super Mario RPG, but I am not an expert at Game Maker. Collisions for a isomertic game is vary hard to do.

Very nice update, but you could add jumping on top of enemies to do damage at the start of battle like M&L RPG, and you could also make it show the damage that was just dealt like in M&L RPG. Both of those would improve this, and make it easier. Also, here's something advanced you could try:
A Level-Up and Skill System.

Thanks and like I said in the first post, I am deabating to add first strikes. Because I want to add more weapons and if you jump on an enemie and don't have a jump weapon equipted, what would happen?
I never though of adding the damage delt, but it is a good idea. I will add that.
As for the Level-up system, I am not ready to add it yet, because I want to add the menu and special/FP systems first.

Ya, like right before you hit you can press a button to do a combo.
I though I saw misses in that. ohmy.gif

Yeah, I could do combo jump.


Also I have the item inventory done, it just needs some testing and there are 2 items. Mushroom and honey surup, but the honey surup dose not really do anything, because the special attacks aren't started yet.
I will post some screenshots later tonight.

Also here is an update...
1. You jump twice on an enemie if you get an action command, it still needs some testing.
2. I am working on the pause menu.
3. Item inventory in battle is done.
4. Sound is added but not much yet.
5. FP system is ready for when I add special attacks.
6. I also added a defence system. Which means you can raise your defence if you use an item or you equip some armor, but that will not be in the next demo. It is just added for later.
