I've gotten some exercises that I'll have to do until it's fixed. I just did the exercises for today. It hurts like hell from the neck to my ass. But the aching is awesome.

This one time, I messed my spine up real bad. My neck was stuck at a 90 degree angle for a week and I couldn't bend my back.

I had to go to a chyropractor (I don't know how to spell that).

This is what we do in our gym type class.

Sometimes, we learn about health in the classroom (our gym class is basically gym integrated with health), but we mostly play gym games. We recently spent out time rock climbing and it was awesome. We set up a trapeze from the ceiling and we could climb up the middle rock climbing wall and onto a ledge, then jump off and grab on to the trapeze (I couldn't do it, not in the 5 times I tried).

I'm guessing a lot of the back problems in this thread run along the lines of poor posture sitting at the computer or in school desks. Of course, poor mattresses could also be the case.

Proper exercise, usually not so much, unless you strain back muscles.

I always exercise proper posture; it is what I'm taught in concert band in order to properly play a clarinet.
