To all of you engine-o-philes, Listen to this

To all of you guys who seem to want SO desperately to make an endless stream of engines, please consider this request.

You guys are good at coding to mimic the original engines of the mario games. So, why not make a bigger name for yourselves and use your talents to make awesome remakes of the old games.

I would love you so much more and you would get the "MFGG fame" you seem to be trying to get with the engine making.

Yeah, perfect mario engines have been created already, I can list serveral games that need to be made into an engine.

-Ice Climbers
-Banjo Kazooie
-Excitebike
-Megaman
-Kirby
-Earthbound

And etc.

We should ban all new Engines. In fact, ban engines in general, and go back to Tutorials for specific things.

Instead of engines make threads discussing the mechanics of the old games and how to mimic them.

I'd really enjoy that.

And yeah, I agree Fuzzy, we do need the engine makers to at least branch out.

Honestly don't see the purpose of this topic as the rules are simple: don't make engines and keep it to tutorials

Beside, we've already got another topic with the exact same discussion.
