UPDATE: August 16th, video preview!

Perhaps some of you caught this game I posted in the CCC a while back. It's a game called Randomness made by me and a guy called Gizmokidneo. It's called Randomness because it's about an unlikely hero saving the world using plenty of objects that really can't be described in any other way than random. Ever wanted to use flying cactuses to press buttons? Now you can. I know I'll get plenty of "lolol so random xD" for this, but hey!

We still love it. So we decided to make a sequel. The idea remains the same as in Randomness, although the graphics, the engine, and all the obvious mistakes have been corrected. And you can expect plenty of new objects.

But enough talk! Have at you!

Oh come on... How can we outrun a pizza that fast?

Note that this game is still in development and everything you see is subject to change!

And for those interested, here it is again, the download link to Randomness I
Z: Jump / pick stuff up
R: Restart
Arrow keys: Move

You'll be pleased to know that this sequel features a remake of the orignal first level that's twice as difficult!

Oh, don't worry, it's a bonus stage, and still only has one pizza.

Are you using Vista? Because this old piece o' junk was made in GM6. And everyone knows Vista hates GM6.

Of course, just don't feel like dowloading it.

I don't want to play it that bad.

Yeah, it's a bit of a pain. I'm not going to be that lazy though.

if it's that easy to convert it, why doesn't the creator convert the game? I never really understood that.

anyway, downloading. I'll give you some C+C when I'm done playing around with it.

I'm only at like the third level right now, but,

it's okay, but the character's acceloration was extremely slow, making it hard to navigate the levels. I can see what you were going for, but it really didn't feel all that natural.

aside from that, it's fun, and I can tell you had fun making it. it has it's glitches here and there, but it's still kinda fun to figure out the puzzles using conventional items and such. I think it would've helped though, if you gave some indication as to which items you can and can't pick up, I got confused by that sometimes.

I agree with you on the acceleration, and it's been revamped to feel a lot more natural in the sequel. Most glitches have been fixed too.

And about indicating which items you can or can't pick up, well, let's not make things too easy.

Never played Randomness before but I sure like this game. The puzzles are neat and creative and have lots of variability. Only issue is the character acceleration, it feels akward, but it doesn't distract from the gameplay too much.

Graveyard bump!

This has been pretty dead for about half a year, but fret not. We're still alive. And to prove it, here's some video footage of Randomness 2.
