One of mine would be when you stay on the world map in the special area in Super Mario World, a remix of the first Super Mario Bros. theme plays. Please correct me if this isn't a easter egg.

A LOT of them across the Metal Gear Solid games, including doing disturbing things to get Rose to break up with Raiden in MGS2, TIME PARADOXes, and many of the situational radio conversations with Sigint in MGS3 (like "Why are you naked/in a box?", etc).

QUOTE (zzo38 @ Jan 23 2009, 08:20 AM)
The freecell solitaire game in Windows, it will allow you to set the result to win or lose instantly. One day when someone was using the computer at my school, they were playing freecell, while they were in the toilet I pushed that key to set it to win on next move, then they came back, whatever next move they push, it moves all the cards to the top (but not necessarily in the right order) and it says you win the game. So, they then were finished with computer and I could then make something else on the computer

Speaking of which, selecting -1 or -2 in the stage select results in an impossible level.

My favourite is probably one of the countless easter eggs from WoW. Not sure which, but this one is near the top for sure.

I love that area in Un'Goro that has the Mario guy (red dwarf with a hammer) and linkin (little gnome with blong hair and a sword and shield)

Its like the nintendo reference town of the game.

Jeez next thing you know we'll realize one of those elite dinosaurs there will have a name that is an acronym for Bowser or something.

Both. Mario is golden and more rare, I believe.

It's actually a nod to Chuck Berry songs.

Interestingly, an area in EarthBound was called Grateful Dead Valley, but it was changed to Resting Peace or something due to copyright.

There are a butt ton of Beatles references, like the random names in Mother 2, (Ness to john, Jeff to paul, Paula to yoko, etc) and a lot of the music is based off of the beatles, such as the Sargent peppers lonely hearts club band reprise in the cave of the past

In Mother, when you first meet Teddy in the live house, if you refuse to fight 3 times, the screen blacks out and you reappear at your house.

I'm assuming either Ninten got grounded for fighting, or teddy punched him so hard that he went flying all the way back to his house.

I knew that too. Another thing I know (the only one I figured it out myself) is you can use the number keys on the keyboard to play (1 to 8 for columns, 9 and 0 for the cards at the top of the screen), without using the mouse. This is a undocumented feature but not really easter eggs. The -1 and -2 and the automatic win or lose are easter eggs features, but playing by keyboard is just the undocumented feature.

No, you're thinking of Star Road. In the middle of starroad is the entrance to the secret levels.
