Sprite Compo Numero 155, with a little taste! ;)

Congrats to Fuzzy who came in second, and the other participants. Now, shall we move on to the next challange? This time, it will be a competition on the basis of quality over quantity!

Confused? I'll explain.

This is going to be a competition of making pixel art, and that means pixel art only. No animations. Just make sure to make it with your best effort!

Restrictions/Requirements
- Must be only mario related
- 200 x 200 is the minimal size requirement. No exceptions.
- Your work must have a setting and a background and whatnot. Don't just make a big sprite of a mario character. That means transparency is not allowed. :Y
- There's no color restriction, but please be reasonable with the number of shades/colors you use.

Entries are due on January 30th.

Also the point of these were to get more material done for the site really, so people could have more access to material to use for games, so this seems kinda awkward.

also, really dig the theme for this comp. PA's are fun.

Hmm. To some extent these could end up being used in games if relevant to their game.
I will most likely be entering, im not much for making sprites but large pixel art is fun.

Well there's no specific theme, so these may vary so much that there's a very slim chance. Interesting that this is being done I suppose though.

Most compos though didn't help the site in any way so don't fret.

Because people are totally more likely to use Flagpole Luigi that doesn't match any other style.

Large pixel art has its uses in fangames.

Never tried pixel art before and I suck at shading large objects.
