Even if this is cruelty (which I'm not sure it is - and I like cats), I don't think PETA has any right to intervene, due to the fact that it shouldn't even exist (especially after the crap it's already pulled).

Let another organization - which is not composed of radical buffoons - do the intervening.

This is kinda my opinion. I'm a little on the fence about it, I mean, I do feel bad that the woman's life was ruined, but... I don't think animals should be pierced. I wish it could have been managed in such a way that it didn't ruin the woman's life, wish that someone other than PETA could have gotten to her...

The thing is... It's clear that the woman did care for her pets really well. I don't think she's a horrible person or anything like that. I just don't think animals should be pierced.
